The Birth of Feminine Astrology

Feminine Astrology; Astrology through the lens of the Divine Feminine.

How did this work start? Where did it come from? Where did "The New Life Coach" go? What is it?

Those are all questions I have asked myself. I have now come to a point of surrender and gratuitous acceptance. The cycles of life are such that something has to die in order for something bigger to be reborn. At the beginning of my journey, it was my patterns and limiting self-beliefs that had to go to make room for The New Life Coach to be born. Now The New Life Coach is being rebirthed into something new, something greater. That is my work with women and the birth of Feminine Astrology.

Over the last year, I have been developing and embodying my work in Feminine Astrology. I started The New Life Coach in April of 2022. My intention was to use Astrology and Human Design to open the hearts and minds of my clients. The initial readings were an opportunity for me to use the birth chart as a window into the psyche, laying the foundation of our healing work together. Using the insights from their Natal and Human Design charts we would work together on a weekly basis, using many different modalities, to help them accept their shadow and reconnect to their intuition, the voice of God within. I began this work after coaching in fitness for many years and noticing that most women who came to me only wanted to lose weight in hopes of being able to cultivate more self-love afterward. I created The New Life Coach in hopes of healing the cause, not the symptom.

The life force of The New Life Coach was vibrating and growing. This life force I noticed was being fed and nurtured by women. My work in fitness presented the same trend. I never understood why other coaches seemed to attract men and women alike, but for me, that never seemed to be the case. It was always women. I am eternally grateful for this and understand now that it was preparing me to be initiated into Feminine Astrology. As I was looking at the charts of my clients I was noticing trends in their patterns, as well as trends within their birth charts. Almost all women have some journey with food or body image, a struggle with disempowerment in some way, or a feeling of being disconnected from the feminine side of their nature. I became desperate to find the answers in their natal charts, but nothing was telling me the full story. This was when I came to the realization that Astrology as most practice it today is through the lens of the masculine.

Since I was a little girl I have been enamored with the myths of Greek and Roman mythology. My favorite book was D'aulaire's Book of Greek Myths. For those who may not know, every planet in the birth chart correlates to a god or goddess from the ancient myths. Knowing this I realized that eight of the ten archetypes used in the birth chart were male gods, leaving only two, the Moon and Venus, to represent the feminine experience. It all clicked! Of course, these women were not being understood and were unable to connect to their feminine power. The feminine experience was boxed into two very fixed archetypes, the Moon being the mother and Venus, the quintessential feminine lover. Most women in common day society only hold a small amount of these two archetypal energies.

Historically civilizations were hinged upon Astrology and the carefully tracked data linked to the movements of the celestial bodies. These civilizations all happened to be patriarchal societies. For example, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, just to name a few. The people who were practicing or implementing astrology were highly educated physicians, scientists, mathematicians (ancient name for astrologers), or political figureheads who all happened to be men, not women. There was no need, as women at that time played one of two roles either the mother, the Moon, or the lover, Venus. This is no longer the case, and I was desperate for answers.

This was when I magically "accidentally" stumbled upon Demetra George's work with the Asteroid Goddesses. I was appalled to find that these four additional goddess placements she worked with were not used in the birth chart by everyone. I had been actively learning astrology since I was thirteen and not in my twelve years of study had I ever heard of anyone using these goddess asteroids. Why not I thought to myself. They were additional representations of the feminine experience. They were telling the stories of women's lives, yet they were considered invalid. I began to plug these four placements into all my readings and suddenly what my clients had been struggling with made more sense and the more of story was available; the story of the feminine.

I spent most of my free time frantically researching for more information on how the feminine could be properly advocated for in the birth chart. There wasn't a whole lot out there. This was when I began to receive full downloads on Feminine Astrology. It came from somewhere else and it was something I couldn't explain. They would come to me while I was driving my car, in the shower, or at the grocery store. I began recording voice memos and taking notes on napkins or old receipts of whatever I was receiving at the moment. They seemed to come at exactly the time I could apply it to a client and it was working. This included a new perspective on Saturn, looking to the Venusian-ruled houses, and five additional feminine archetypes. Over the last year, I have been working with and honing in on everything I have received to create a system and perfect a process I could teach to others.

Finally, it feels ready. I began working on a book in March of this year, started a podcast, created a workshop, and began offering Feminine Astrology readings. I have now decided to make working with women and Feminine Astrology the focus of my work starting in January of 2024. Lots of updates will be happening and I can't wait to present it to the world. My website will be changing to www.thefeminineastrologer.com and The New Life Coach will be no more. I will begin teaching classes, leading workshops, and offering courses to help empower the feminine. Thank you for your abundant support and stay tuned for much more. This is the rise of the feminine.
